Rules.
Not rules, exactly. More like things I believe.
01 · Collect. Don’t decorate.
A room should feel like it happened over time—not like everything arrived on the same truck.
02 · Keep something old in every room.
Patina, history, imperfection. New things are beautiful. Old things give them somewhere to belong.
03 · Mix high with low.
Splurge where it matters. Save where it doesn’t. Nobody needs to know which is which.

04 · Buy the
weird lamp.
Or chair. Or painting. Or ridiculous little brass thing you can’t stop thinking about. Those are usually the pieces that make the room.
05 · Perfect is boring.
A little wear, something unexpected, a piece that’s slightly off—that’s often where the personality lives.
06 · Never decorate a room all at once.
Leave room for the things you haven’t found yet.
07 · Not everything has to match.
It has to belong.
08 · Your home should look like you live there.
Books get opened. Blankets get used. People put their feet up. Beautiful and livable aren’t opposites.
09 · If you love it, we’ll find a place for it.
Sometimes the heart chooses before the floor plan does.
10 · Make it beautiful. Make it yours.
Trends come and go. Your home should tell your story.
